"Helia" Art deco Multi-fuel stove by Coste

This stove, called "Helia" in the Art Deco style from the 1940's manufactured by Coste Caumartin . The colour is a rich high gloss mahogany brown enamel, with a pink tinge to it. It is in superb condition and the enamel is very good order. It does have a slight discolouration to the enamel on the lid but this does not notice unless you really look for it. It burns wood, coal or coke making it a very versatile stove. Fuel is loaded from the top. Simply lift the enamel lid and then the second lid to the firebox and pop in the coal or wood. The inner lid also serves as a hotplate to cook with or keep the kettle hot! The construction is of heavy cast iron, and it is quite a lump. It is in full functioning order and the firebox, grate and riddler are all in excellent condition. "Helia" has an unusual charm, and will burn for around nine hours on anthracite.
