Art Nouveau

Multi-fuel stove

by Deville

Sold

We found this stove in a small village in near to Lyon in the Rhone Alpes region.

It is enamelled on all four sides in a beautiful french blue colour , and on each side of the casting is a superb Art Nouveau oval pattern. The superbly flowing corner pillars are nickelled. The natural and continuous Art Nouveau design dates the stove to around 1910

  • All metal work has all been newly re-nickelled and looks superb.

  • The mica has been replaced in the door.

The condition is absolutely magnificent, and the colour is superb. The firebox, riddler and ash box are all in excellent working order and it is ready to use.

It is quite tall:

  • H 80cms (31½”)

  • W 32cms (12½”)

  • D 32cms (12½”)

  • The flue is 8.8cms (3¾”) in diameter

This stove would add grandeur to any period home and would also compliment an elegant conservatory.

If you are looking for an individual piece  of French 20th C history with a stunning Art Nouveau design, then look no further. This is a rare opportunity to own an elegant stove which does not come on the market very often so we advise you to make an offer early.
