 What great find this is! a fantastic Art Nouveau fire insert/stove made by the great company Faure of Revin in the French Ardennes.

It is in a striking black enamel, adorned with blue pastilles around the arch of the ornately pierced door. The lovely thing about this particular stove is that you can actually have the door open or shut. Either way, as you can see from the photos, the flame is visible. It is complete with its original ashtray. The bottom photo shows the weight system for keeping the door balanced whilst being opened.

This is indeed a wonderful opportunity for Art Nouveau lovers to own a real living breathing original piece that can keep warm and cosy in the long winter nights!

The dimensions are:

56cms H (22”) x 52cms W (20½”)  x 42cms D (16½”)  and the oval flue size is 18.5cms (7¼”) x 7.5cms (3”) . Weight is about 30kgs
