This is a superb
& original Godin Radiolette parlour stove which was made around 1927. It
is a multi-fuel stove in electric blue enamel with a pierced body. It
has the manufacturers name "Godin" cast into the front panel, a
manufacturer who has been around for around 160 years.
It is around 4-5kw in power
and can burn practically every sort of combustible imaginable.
Fuel is
loaded from the top. Lift the enamel lid and there's another lid that
can be used as a hotplate. Open the inner lid and drop logs in vertically. Once the wood fire is established, add more wood or
add coal. There's a mica window in the door, below the door is an
ash pan. It is
good condition and is ready to use, it does however have a couple of
chips to the enamel, which is to be expected for a stove of this age.
It is in full functioning
order with the riddler, grate and firebox in excellent condition.
Black enamel flue pipe and
bend of the correct dimension are available at a competitive price if
required.
The
dimensions are:
65cms (25½”)H x
47cms (18½")W
x 36cms (14¼
")D. The flue size is 8.3cms (3¼”) and is
45cms
(17¾”)from the floor.
