"Le Pierrot" Art deco Log burner SOLD |
|||||||
|
This very unusual deco log burner is called "Le Pierrot". The front of this stove consists of fins, bringing to mind the radiator grill of a car from the 1930's! It is in a vibrant green enamel, with a sunburst motif carried throughout on three sides of the stove, and it has diamond shaped mica viewing windows on two sides. It is in excellent, working condition. It does have a couple of minor chips to the enamel which do not detract from its unusual charm. Please note that the mica windows have been replaced prior to sale. This is a lovely Art Deco stove, the like of which we have never seen before. This is a great opportunity to own a genuine original, quirky stove that will not be seen anywhere! The dimensions are: 63.5cms Height (25”) x 41cms Width (16¼”) x 25cms Depth at the feet (9¾”) and the flue is oval 14cms x 8.3cms (5½ x 3¼”) 33cms (13”) from the floor. Weight is about 30kgs (66lbs)
