This truly stunning Art nouveau stove by Montherme, is called "Scott". We've managed to date it to sometime in the mid 1910's . What fabulous Art Nouveau style this stove has! It is in a beautiful French burgundy coloured enamel. The enamel and the chrome work are in beautiful condition. Lift the enamel lid and there's a hotplate that can be used for cooking. Logs of up to 40cms (15¾”) are loaded through the side door. Coal/anthracite is also loaded through the side door. The "Scott" is in superb condition , and the colour is really well defined throughout, although there are one or two minor chips to the enamel, they do not detract from this stoves lovliness . The firebox, is in excellent working condition. Please note that the mica windows have been replaced with a top quality clear mica which will give years of use if looked after. This is indeed a rare opportunity for Art Nouveau lovers to own a stunning, living breathing, original piece of furniture, with a Dahlia style motif to the casting, that can heat your home and keep your food warm at the same time! The dimensions are: 54cms H (21”¼) x 52cms W (20½”) x 31cms D (12 ¼”) The flue size is 8.3cms (3¼”) 37.5cms (14¾”) from the floor. It can heat a room of around 100m3 Weight is about 50kgs (110lbs)
